Authentication & Condition

Pre-owned by default

All watches sold through JM Watches are pre-owned unless a listing explicitly states otherwise. Pre-owned means the watch has had at least one prior owner and may show signs of normal use.

Individual listings

There is no blanket description applied across inventory. Each watch is assessed and listed on its own — condition, accessories, and notes reflect that specific piece at the time of listing.

Condition assessments

Condition notes are based on visible inspection and information provided by the prior owner or source. I describe what can be observed: surface marks, crystal condition, bezel wear, bracelet stretch, clasp condition, and similar details. I do not claim to have disassembled or fully serviced every watch unless specifically stated in the listing.

Condition grades

• Excellent — Minimal visible wear for the age of the watch.
• Very Good — Light wear consistent with normal use.
• Good — Noticeable wear but functional and presentable.

Service history

Service history is disclosed when known and documented. If service history is unknown or unconfirmed, that is stated in the listing. I do not imply recent service, polishing, or internal work unless I have documentation or direct confirmation.

Accessories & completeness

• Included items are listed per watch — box, papers, extra links, tools, straps, etc.
• If an accessory is not listed, assume it is not included.
• Aftermarket straps, missing links, missing papers, or other known gaps are disclosed when known.
• Warranty status is noted only when applicable and confirmed — not assumed.

Authentication & originality

I do not claim that every watch has been independently authenticated unless specifically noted in the listing. When documentation, receipts, or verification is available, that information is included. Questions about provenance or originality should be raised before purchase.

Before you buy

Request additional photos or videos. Ask about specific areas of wear, service history, or what's included. I'd rather answer questions upfront than have a buyer surprised on delivery.
